1、華南塑膠原料價格指數(shù)：是指在華南塑膠原料現(xiàn)貨市場流通中的500余家石化企業(yè)的150多個品種、8000多個型號的價格基礎(chǔ)上，通過科學(xué)抽樣、系統(tǒng)建模等科學(xué)方法計算得出。
2、ABS價格指數(shù)：是指在華南塑膠原料現(xiàn)貨市場流通中的ABS品種里具有代表性的型號的價格基礎(chǔ)上，通過科學(xué)抽樣、系統(tǒng)建模等科學(xué)方法計算得出。（PP、PC、PA指數(shù)同理。）
3、綜上，指數(shù)上升，表示市場價格總體上漲；反之，則表示市場價格總體下跌。以上價格指數(shù)在很大程度上客觀反應(yīng)了華南乃至全國塑膠原料價格的整體趨勢，是分析和預(yù)測塑膠原料價格走勢的有力工具。
